Complementing the hardware interface’s analog, digital, and MIDI I/O, Pro Tools LE software offers 32 tracks of simultaneous recording and playback, 128 virtual tracks, 256 MIDI tracks, and a host of additional features. The MBOX 2 FACTORY Package comes loaded with all that is included in the MBOX2 package plus it is bundled with a Pre-authorized iLok Smart Key, the Cosmonaut Voice, JOEMEEK SC2 Compressor, JOEMEEK VC5 Meequalizer, and the Moogerfooger Analog Delay plug-ins.
The Cosmonaut Voice lets you achieve telephone voice, CB radio, even interplanetary effects…all with a plug-in that looks as funky as it sounds. Cosmonaut Voice effects include distortion, noise, squelch, and even an authentic tone culled from recently declassified Russian space footage.
The JOEMEEK SC2 Photo Optical Compressor is designed purely as an effects compressor. It changes the clarity, balance, and even rhythmic feel of music ? giving your tracks an undeniable edge! Joe Meek built custom recording circuits in tiny tobacco tins. One of them was a treble and bass equalizer with a sweepable mid control. The JOEMEEK VC5 Meequalizer re-creates the exact equalizer circuit used by Joe Meek, offering simple controls and incredibly warm, musical results. Try it on mono or stereo tracks.
The Moogerfooger Analog Delay is simply the coolest (and warmest!) delay in the digital domain. Due to component shortages, fewer than 1,000 of Bob Moog’s “real-world” version will be made. Bomb Factory snagged serial #1 and, as always, meticulously modeled every detail of the classic analog design.
