The Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 is an 18 in / 8 out USB 2.0 audio interface and part of the new generation of Focusrite audio interfaces, designed to make music creation easier and sound better than ever before. Featuring four award-winning Focusrite mic pre amps alongside a flexible array of other input and output options, the Scarlett 18i8 is the perfect match for the discerning producer or small recording band, allowing up to four mic inputs and four line inputs to be recorded simultaneously. And with the option of ADAT, a unit such as an OctoPre MkII can be connected, bringing the number of mic pres up to 12.
