This is the latest release in the Serato Pressings Artist Series by Shepard Fairey.
Shepard Fairey was born in Charleston, SC in 1970. While studying at Rhode Island School of Design he created the “Andre the Giant has a Posse” sticker that developed into the Obey Giant art campaign with imagery that has changed the way people see art and the urban landscape. His work has evolved into an acclaimed body of art which includes the 2008 “Hope” portrait of Barack Obama which can now be found in the Smithsonian’s National Portrait gallery.
This limited edition double 12″ Artist Series Pressing release celebrates Shepard’s long time love of the record culture.
