The Aphex Model 622Â is the next generation beyond the Model 612. The latest creation for your audio applications is a versatile expander, gate, and ducker. You may use it for reducing or virtually eliminating noise in recording, effects and sound styles. For sound reinforcement applications, it will automatically mute unused open mikes, increasing the dynamic range of the system, and reducing feedback
Two channels of downward expansion provide a powerful addition to your studio or personal equipment rack. You’ve got a comprehensive set of controls which will allow you to adjust the expansion curves to suit a variety of applications, as well as creating useful and dramatic audio effects.
