Audix M44 Condenser Instrument Microphone
Audix M44 Condenser Instrument Microphone
The M44 Condenser Instrument Microphone from Audix features a miniature profile, fully integrated preamplifier, and small-diaphragm condenser design for capturing instruments in recording and sound reinforcement applications. A cardioid polar pattern minimizes off-axis noise and feedback caused by nearby monitor speakers and other sources. There is a wide frequency response and low noise for providing transparent reproduction of vocals, percussion, drums, guitar, and similar instruments. The package includes a 25′ mini-XLRf to XLRm microphone cable, a lug mount adapted for hand percussion instruments with a shockmount ring, a drum rim mount attachment with a shockmount ring, an external foam windscreen, and a carrying pouch.
144 dB SPL Handling: There is a 144 dB SPL for capturing transient rich signals such as drums, guitar, and percussion, without distortion.
Miniature Profile: The M44 features an integrated preamplifier and a low-profile design for mounting the mic close to instruments in live sound and recording applications.
Cardioid Polar Pattern: A cardioid polar pattern minimizes off-axis noise and feedback caused by nearby monitor speakers and other sources.
Low Noise: The microphone’s output electronics provide a wide frequency response and low noise floor.
