Capture, render, and play back high-resolution VFX or VR graphics with the VX2 Media Server from disguise. This 4 RU server unit is built upon the VX4 chassis standard with numerous expansion possibilities. It provides eight 3G-SDI inputs that can also input two 4K or two 12G-SDI input signals, and can play back lossless 10-bit uncompressed video with up to 4K60 resolution. It includes two HDMI 2.0 VFC output cards, which can be swapped out for optional output cards using its two VFC slots.
The VX2 features a fast Intel Xeon 2.5 GHz processor, an ultra-fast 3.84TB NVMe SSD, a DisplayPort monitor output, USB keyboard/mouse/peripheral ports, and 48GB of DDR4 RAM for smooth video playback performance. It also features five fast Ethernet ports at 1 Gb/s, 10 Gb/s, and 25 Gb/s speeds. The unit comes with Windows 10 Enterprise installed and the full disguise production suite.
Building on the strength of the VX4, the VX2 is robust in design. Incorporating improved cross-bracing and isolated core components it also features a hi-res OLED front panel giving users detailed system information.
The VX2 has dual 25 Gb/s and dual 10 Gb/s Ethernet ports, enabling faster media file transfer and higher resolution networked live video capture.
