The Extron Cable Cubby® 800 is an elegant, metal enclosure that can be mounted into a tabletop or other flat surface. The Cable Cubby’s lid slides out of the way when it is fully open and lifts easily to close. When the cables are not being used, they can be stored out of sight while remaining connected to the system, offering a discreet way to access cables and connection points as they are needed. The Cable Cubby 800 is available in a black anodized or brushed aluminum finish. AC power modules are available for the US, Europe, and other major world markets.

Cable Cubby Power Modules are available with discrete AC outlets for the US, Central Europe, and other major world markets. The US Power Module features two unswitched AC power outlets. The attached power cord can be removed and replaced with flexible conduit as required by local codes; see the Installation Guide for details. All other models feature one unswitched AC power outlet. A Universal AC outlet, which accepts a variety of plug types, is also available; for compatibility information, see the Universal AC Outlet Compatibility Guide, available online at www.extron.com/UACguide. The Extron line of optional AAP ‑ Architectural Adapter Plates allow you to customize the Cable Cubby with almost any kind of pass-through connectivity required.

Within its base, the Cable Cubby offers adjustable panels with three sizes of hole openings to support a variety of cable diameters. AAPs and AC Power Modules are height-adjustable to suit cable lengths and connector types. The optional Retractor Series/2 Cable Retraction System is available in versions to support most AV and data signal types. The Retractor provides improved management of cables within the Cable Cubby.
