The GT 103-800 1U Rackmount Hard Drive Enclosure from Glyph Technologies is an external drive enclosure that connects to a computer via the FireWire-800 interface. It is compatible with hot-swappable GT Key drives from Glyph. This is a great solution for anyone who has invested in the GT Key system and would like an additional enclosure for their hot-swap drives. The enclosure features three drive bays. Two bays are populated with 1 TB Hard Drives.
1U Rackmount Design
The enclosure features a 1U rackmount design for professional installation. It is ideal for studio use, where equipment racks are fairly ubiquitous.
GT Key Compatibility
The enclosure is compatible with GT Key FireWire-400 and FireWire-800 hot-swappable hard drives by Glyph. You can be sure that you’ll get top-notch performance from your GT Key when used in this enclosure.
FireWire-800 Interface
The GT 103 connects to your computer using the standard FireWire-800 interface. FireWire-800 allows for bus transfer speeds of up to 100 MB/sec. FireWire-800 GT Key drives can achieve sustained transfer rates of over 70 MB/sec when used with this enclosure; FireWire-400 GT Key drives are limited to about 36 MB/sec.
