Radial DiNet DAN-RX2 Dante Network Receiver
Radial DiNet DAN-RX2 Dante Network Receiver
Dual Output Dante EndpointThe DAN-RX2 is a 2-channel 24bit/96kHz digital to analog endpoint that allows you to output audio from a Dante or AES67-compliant network for connection to professional audio systems.
Robust digital audio distributionThe DAN-RX2 is a road-worthy digital receiver capable of delivering two channels of analog audio to any location from a Dante or AES-67 compliant network. Balanced XLR outputs include a ground lift and a separate headphone amp with its own level control is included for local testing or personal monitoring. The RJ45 network connection is compatible with Neutrik etherCON connector carriers to prevent accidental disconnection and protect cable terminations. Redundant powering is available for critical applications by using the included external power supply and Power over Ethernet (PoE) simultaneously, and the DAN-RX2 can be mounted in 19″ equipment racks with the optional SA series rackmount adaptor kit.
Features:
- Stereo analog output device for Dante networks
- Balanced XLR outputs for connection at mic or line level
- Built-in headphone amplifier for personal monitoring
- 24bit/96kHz digital to analog conversion
- Compliant to AES67 specifications
- Headphone Outputs: 3.5mm TRS and ¼” TRS headphone outputs work with earbuds and standard headphones.
- Headphone Level: Sets output level of the headphone amplifier.
- Headphone On: Sets output level of the headphone amplifier.
- Sync LED: Red LED illuminates when unit is powered. Green LED will illuminate once connected to an Ethernet network. Flashing green LED indicates that the DAN-RX2 is in master clock mode, solid green LED indicates that it is in slave mode.
- Sys LED: Red LED illuminates when power is first applied. Switches to green LED once Dante processor becomes active.
- +15V LED: Illuminates when the DAN-RX2 is receiving power via the included DC power adapter.
- PoE LED: Illuminates when the DAN-RX2 is receiving Power over Ethernet (PoE).
