Roland DJ-202 2-Channel Serato DJ Pro Controller
The Roland DJ-202 gives DJs all the features they want in a compact and lightweight unit. It has two large low-latency platters, a built-in Roland sequencer, and dedicated transport controls allowing for fluid performances.
Despite weighing in at only 4.5lbs, the Roland DJ-202 knows how to pack a punch. Styled after Roland’s flagship models, this DJ controller fits platters, sequencers, FX, and dedicated transport controls into its compact housing. Built for rugged portability –– with easy-grab handles –– the plug-and-play DJ-202 is perfect for house parties, clubs, or studio work. Its high-resolution D/A converters mean your mixes will sound great on any speakers.
The DJ-202 boasts two-channels with four-deck capabilities. Drag your favorite tracks to each deck using the bundled Serato DJÂ Pro software; and spin the two low-latency platters to scratch and mix the music in jog wheel or vinyl mode. Change decks with the press of a button and use the dedicated transport controls to cue up the next tune. The intuitive controller design makes it simple to Loop, Roll, and Slice your beats mid-performance.
A legendary sequencer
Roland’s genre-defining sequencer samples have been legendary since the 80s, from hip-hop to trap. The DJ-202 Serato DJ controller uses ACB (Analog Circuit Behavior) technology to faithfully recreate those recognizable sounds. You’ll be spoilt for choice with TR-909, TR-808, and TR-606 kits available to you. Trigger the 8 sounds of each kit using rubber pads and create your own layered drum beats, or adapt and evolve the patterns that come built in. Your library will be pumping with new rhythms in no time.
Connectivity and upgrades
The DJ-202 controller is USB-powered with RCA outputs that run straight to your monitors for a plug-and-play set up. The MIDI Out allows you to expand your rig with external controllers, while the 1/4-inch Mic input lets you collaborate with singers, rappers, or even add your own voice to the mix. Roland bundled the DJ-202 with their Serato DJ Intro software, but the unit is now upgradable for free to Serato DJ Pro if you want up to 32 sync-able sampler slots, across four banks of sounds.
Dedicated performance controls
Even with its compact size, the Roland DJ-202 affords space for dedicated controls so you can remix or create new beats on-the-fly. Unlike other DJ controllers in the same class, the DJ-202 has individual Play/Pause and Cue buttons that free up your other triggers for Hot Cues, Loops, Samples, and Slices. Each channel benefits from a multi-band EQ, high/low pass filter, and up to three built-in FX. All of this means you can create the perfect blend for your mix with ease.
The Roland DJ-202 Serato DJ controller has everything you need for a portable and versatile rig, so grab yours and get mixing.
