The easiest way to distribute HD-SDI video up to 1080p resolution to an unlimited number of displays over both RF and IP networks. The HDbridge 2920i converts HD-SDI sources into both an MPEG-2 IP stream and an RF signal. The RF signal is tuned by your display’s QAM tuner and is sent over coax, while the simultaneous IP stream is decoded by an IP set-top-box or VLC player. That means that you can send your content to an unlimited number of displays over nearly any distance via RF, as well as stream the content to any notebook, set-top box, digital signage player, or other device on your IP network that can stream an MPEG-2 video. This solution is ideal for anyone looking for an easy and affordable way to send video, such as broadcast facilities, houses of worship, and hospitals where the stream can be sent to both televisions via a coax cable or watched from your desktop over your IP network.
